The heating wire is fixed to the platform with Capton-tape. The distances don't need to be very accurate, because the heat is distributed very good by the aluminum, making it evenly warm/hot.
I'd suggest to place a reflector (e.g aluminum foil or a thermal blanket) under the heating wire, for using the full heat radiation of the wire for heating the platform.
