The printed Y-axis Stepper Mount Spacers are these: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:587510 (two needed).

Interference between stepper and nyloc nut, detail:

If you look carefully at where the arrow is pointing you can see the interference between the stepper and the nyloc nut, and where the stepper body has been filed away slightly.

Can this be solved by using washers in M3 screws between motor faceplate and metal holder? --Xoan Sampaiño (talk) 12:22, 11 December 2014 (PST)
Hi Xoan, yes, that is also a solution, but it weakens the attachment between the stepper and the metal holder. Also if you increase that distance, it means that the M3 screws are not going anymore as deep as they should into the stepper body, and that too weakens the whole assembly. Imho it's better to file a small notch (not like in the photo!) in the stepper body than to use washers and loose some of the incredible strength of the P3Steel frame. --AndrewBCN (talk) 13:40, 11 December 2014 (PST)
