3.1 - People make similar arguments for the war on drugs. Just because it's a bad idea doesn't mean that congress won't pursue it. I'm asking you to think like a congress-critter and imagine how they'd try to criminalize printing.

3.2 - You should consider visiting the Make Space, they always need more tech-savvy people.

3.3 - What about becoming famous for your freely distributed models of useful things that people can print? Could you see any possible value in that?


2.1 - Worse than argon gas! Depositions in high vacuum conditions, sometimes with toxic gases. I wrote a dissertation about this sort of thing, so ask me if you want to know more about how they make chips. What about something that uses other low tech processes? You can cast a metal hot tip from a 'lost wax' mold, perhaps?

2.2 - Licensing is a problem, but I think his main point was that he wanted to create a low-cost means of production....allowing people who aren't rich to have their own 'miniature factory'.

2.3 - Is the third one really a possibility? Like all humans become nihilists or something?
