## Math Rendering

I would format this as an equation, but I'm getting this error:

"Failed to parse (PNG conversion failed; check for correct installation of latex, dvips, gs, and convert): \frac{Expected_{stepspermm}}{Actual_{stepspermm}} = \frac{Expected_{distanceTraveled}}{Actual_{distanceTravel}}"

There are other pages with equations that works fine, but if I change anything from the exact equation they have, it no longer displays.

Wikipedia says this: "To have math rendered in a particular MediaWiki installation, one has to set \$wgUseTeX = true; in LocalSettings.php." -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Displaying_a_formula

Well, I guess all the other forumlas are cached already, so they display properly. As we're upgrading the wiki currently, can we delay that a bit? --Traumflug 23:10, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
Absolutely.
By the way, your name keeps popping up everywhere I look. You seem to do a tremendous amount of work for RepRap. It is certainly appreciated! --Macon 23:18, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
