BOM Problem

Zach,

The BOM generator for the Arduino has a problem. When you select a quantity more than one--in my case 3--of the stepper controller board you get a few components in the Mouser Import list thingy--technical term! :-)--that have a quantity of 1. This obviously can't be the case as the minimum quantity is 3. The BOM import list is the only thing I found that was screwed up as the human readable list seems to list the quantities correctly.

are you talking about the Stepper Motor Driver v1.1? [parts.reprap.org]

this is actually the right behavior... if you look below the part list, it has the human readable list (including the math... which will explain it.)

for example, the .100" breakaway headers come as a pack of 40, but you only need 18 total for all 3 boards:

571-41032390 (buy) .100 breakaway header 18 needed / 40 per unit 1 total

Zach,

Ah, I get it. Took me a bit. I was being a bit dense. Thanks for clearing that up.
