Stepper driven extruder

Hi all. I am trying to get my reprap working with the Wade's extruder. I am using the Gen3 electronics as well. I want to have the extruder controller actuate the stepper motor rather than a DC motor. Has anyone had success with this? Do I need to rebuild the firmware myself or is there a solution already?

I've tried changing the MOTOR_STYLE define to 2 in the Configuration.h file but am still having compiler errors which complain about "multiple definition of `__vector_11'" in the Servo.cpp file.

the 5d firmware is set to run an extruder by default. So you will need to use the reprap host. The makerbot firmware is DC by default.

also to drive a stepper you need two extra cables going from your motherboard to your extruder board, check out the wiring diagram.
