(not to mention there is SO much more to consider other than resolution, build size, and cost)
asking a forum full of people trying to build their own machines at minimum cost is probably not the best place to be asking if you want to get a 'feel' for the market.

No, .1mm is less acurate than a Mendel running Ramps with 1.8 degree steppers. And that cost is 5 times higher than a Prusa and twice that of a Rapman/ToM.
I am sure someone would buy it, but it's that that different of a product form a Shapercube.
