Hello,
I finally finished posting all of the documentation for a new nozzle design that myself and a couple others have been working on and testing over the last 2 months or so. Since it looks somewhat like the letter "J", if held the right way, I decided to call it the J-Head nozzle.
Here is a link to the Wiki page: [
reprap.org]
Basically, it is a combination of several ideas and the goal of keeping the number of machined parts to a minimum. The tradeoff is that the brass heater/nozzle requires extensive and time consuming machining.
I will be updating the Wiki page as I get more test results from some people that are beta testing the nozzle. Hopefully, I will soon be able to change the status from experimental to working.
Regards,
Brian
