Anyone help me on room size super big repStrap?

Can I build a room size super big repStrap? like attachment

the extruder is setup to a stick (red) which and can move on the stick by step motor

the stick(red) is setup to 2 sticks (black) and also can move on that 2 sticks by step motor

Is that possible?

How much does it cost (except the room )

... it's possible and was made for printers which 'printed' complete houses from concrete ... but you need some really big (and expensive) linear stages ...

What if I use small linear stages for small range printing

for large range, I 'll use a camera to position where the linear stages is .

That would be cheaper

My suggestion is to walk before you run. Get some experience and build a Mendel first. Large plastic parts tend to warp unless you have a heated build platform and a heated build chamber. If you're extruding other materials, then you still need to try it at a smaller scale before going to large scale.
