Hi-

I have a broken part in my hot-tub I need to replace.
Does anyone know how PLA would fare in 100F, chlorinated water?

what is it doing in the water.? if it will be under much stress i would not trust it,

but also given what pla is, i don't think the chlorine will help it any, that stuff is pretty strong oxidizer,

Water at 100f wont melt it, however Chlorine will destroy it in a matter of weeks.

allot better given that most of the pipes for your hot tub are most likely abs

It may look like abs, but it is actually pvc used in hot tubs.

I've been looking around for some data on pla such as chemicals that disolve it, and water absorbtion. I have not found anything.
