reprap.org suppliers list

just wondering , who deals with the reprap.org supplier lists?

me and 1 other person have sent out details to the email address that the page tell us to, but so far it's been quite a considerable amount of time,

has the one in charge gone on holiday or somthing?

Could you point us to the list you're talking about? I think there are several ones.

Regarding maintenance of these list, I think they're completed by the sellers them selfs. If one goes out of business, well, I don't think he cares to remove his name from the RepRap wiki.

theres basically security restrictions all over everything, so nothing can't be editied, i understand this may have been done due to a couple of people being a little disruptive

... which leads me to the question wether there are way too many links on this page.

What about putting in one link per vendor, only? I mean it's pretty obvious shops selling "full kits" also sell parts of this kit. IMHO, this clutters the list for i.e. extruders, because sellers specialised in extruders (and probably doing a better job on this one item) can't be found anymore.

Is it a reasonably safe assumption a shop selling many aspects of a RepRap also sells every single aspect of it? If you don't think so, I'd appreciate examples where this isn't true.

i think it could probably be consolidated, a bit,

i would just have it all in a table, with a link and a series of columns with a dot if they sell that particular category of parts,

on a side note, acording to the statistics from shopify, my site got over 300 hits within hours of the link apearing on the page, 90% odd percent of it was from just that page,
