How 'used'? Make sure you get a sample print.
For the Mendel get an estimate for new belting at the minimum. And ask for new extruder gears.
As far as the T-o-M, they should pay you to take it.

Assuming 1-2 years old. do you have a numerical value in mind for each product (even if you think the mere mortal ToM is worth zero)? A test print is a good idea.
Even the ToM cant be all crap though. THere are good components in there any DIYer finds value in such as all the steppers, amps, the arduino mega, etc. Probably $300 material value with the electronics alone?
