Why cant the thermistor be incorperated into the PCB? Seems like it would take some of the complication out of building the bed not to mention that it would probably make temperature reading more accurate.
Also, thermistors are known to fail occasionally - they are fragile things. If it was integrated into the PCB it would be much more difficult to replace.
