do you have a fan to cool the layers. seems like the lower layers are too soft and sag under the load of the new layers.

probably only happens on small parts right?

edit:with the improved images you added with your edit, it looks like extruder is not always feeding feedstock. this is happening on the perimeter. can you post your gcode used, so someone can look at it closer. it may be a speed issue, or a retraction issue, or slicer issue.

did it just start doing this recently? have you switched feedstock, or done anything different on the machine?

also is the print slanted, or is that just the camera angle?

looks like you are running no microstepping and your layer height is not compatible with your machines capability, what is you z axis setup, ie motor setup and threaded rod specs.

Lots of things wrong, is that object supposed to be canted like that?

@jamesdaniel, i do have a fan. i checked my E steps per mm and its off by a fraction. fixed it now but still have minor problems. please see new attached print

it is supposed to be slanted. @ forgetfuljones

what do you mean no microstepping? and layer height not compatible? i use nema 17 and a4 stainless threaded rods @ aduy

I also attached newer prints that look better but have some issue still...what do you think of them. (there is a messier side, this is where the g-code terminates to add new layer)

Slic3r has a "vase mode" where it prints the object as a continuous spiral. That will prevent that messy glob where it jumps up to the next higher level.
