Speeding up prints

I have designed a delta printer with zero play using industrial bearings and slides with a print area of 250 diameter and 340 height. I am currently printing with pla 1.75mm using a j head and i am looking at doubling the print speed of standard cartesian printers.

Any suggestions of how to do this as the j head cannot keep up with the demand for melted filament, any recommendations on other hot ends.

What kind of speeds are you looking for? The little brass (lb) hotend we make is pretty reliable for faster printing.

use a jhead with aluminum or copper hot end. the thermal transfer of energy will be quicker. or you could raise the temp, or increase nozzle size.
