How can I check that my thermistor is working?

I have ramps 1.4 and Arduino 2560 rev 3, everything is working correctly (I think) expect that my nozzle's thermistor isn't working, on Printrun it says that the temperture of my nozzle is 357 but nozzle is actually cold as ice
What should I do?
How can I check to see if my thermistor is working? (Maybe with an Ohmmeter)

A thermistor is a resistor that changes its resistance with temperature. So an ohmmeter will tell you what that resistance is for the temperature it is currently at.

check to make sure the wire going to the thermister is connected properly. also make sure there are no shorts. @357 reading it is likely the thermister is shorted out.
