Hello guys. I need help. I'm trying to build mendelmax but the screws and parts are not suitable.

so what specifically is your issue?

many screw sizes exist. have you used a shorter one somewhere else in your build?

the gregs extruder hobble bolt seems deep, but it should work. you may need to drill out the feed hole.

explain what exactly you need so you can get real answers. thanks

Ok. I have bought the kit and have built the mainframe. The first problem is I cant build the Greg's extruder because I have no M8x25mm Stud. It isn't in the kit. And I haven't found anything to put it's place. I got different type of Hobbed Bolt. I'm new about 3d printers and this parts are changing everyday. The Hobbed Bolt that I have is in the picture. And there is a screw as you see in the second picture is too long I think and there isn't any screw to put it's place. The second problem is the heated bed. I havent found anything to how to assemble. And it's a little bit different too. I'll upload all of my parts photos.

It would be nice to know what kit you have? Who supplied it?

What extruder are you building?

Have you tried looking at Mendalmax site:

There are these stores out there ---- hardware stores
they have sections with nuts, bolts, washers and hardware?
Even metric hardware?

I dont have Y-Axis Car, Y-Axis Rail, Corner plastic parts(4 parts), M8x25mm Stud these are all I know now. How can I build without these. All the mendelmax kits are standart. I have bought it from NL reprapworld.

If you don't have all the plastic parts, or are missing nuts bolts or washers you should contact the supplier who you bought the kit from

In practice, its probably easier to go to a local hardware store and get any missing bolts and nuts (unless they are very specialised, e.g. T nuts)

However for plastic parts you only have a few options.
1. Contact the supplier
2. Find someone locally that has a 3D printer and ask / pay them to print the missing parts for you
3. Buy parts from the internet, eg. eBay (however most people only sell complete sets of parts and not individual parts)

I'll contact the supplier now. Thanks. I'm new about 3d printing. But the parts cost too much I think. I got a lot of missing.
