Round Oven Pizza Stone Hot Bed?

Would it work, pro's con's?

They hold the heat, less temperature fluctuation?
Some have a raised bottom, probably wouldn't work.
I think I've seen one with a flat on both sides.

Print on it an see. I suspect the porous nature may make it hard to remove parts completely but that is just a guess.

Your comment about the pizza stone being porous, got me thinking.

Ideas to change the properties of the ceramic pores to enhance it as a printing base:
Rub wax, or the base material into the pores, preheat the ceramic to help transfer the medium.
Soak the ceramic in a tub of PVA, hairspray, etc.

There is also the size of the ceramic pores, it's density, material, etc that could be modified.

This sounds like it might be very useful.

What else could be infused into the ceramic pores to reduce warping, increase object anchoring, heat transfer, etc...?
