The project aims at designing a legal tool - a patent window - for User Innovators to expand the free space of innovating.

To expand the free space you need to know what defines the negative space.
You might find this useful.

Note: I think that MIT patents can be distributed between Stratasys and 3d Systems.
This muddles the logarithmic curve, and identifies the patent trolls.

Give MIT a call and ask them for a list of who they are licencing their 3d patents too.
