PROBLEM connecting to printrbot new user

I have built a 3d printrbot 2014 .I am having great differculty in connecting the computer to the 3d printrbot 2014, it is quite frustating the driver connection worked twice and the stoped working. I am using an acer computer with vistor vest progam to activate the driver connection to the printrbot plus the pronterface program connect to activate the 3d printer, Any help would be greatly appreciated. Use Repetier Host if you are just starting out. Much easier to get the hang of.

As for your problem, if you make sure your have it assigned to the correct port. You can find out what port your printer is connected to by going to the "Device Manager" in Windows, expanding the Ports category, and looking at the port for the USB connection.
