Power Expander failure

Hi,

I recently purchased a RepRap Power Expander to use on my new Velleman K8200 3d Printer. It was wired up exactly as per the Ultimaker 3D printer example given in [reprap.me] , but burnt out the first time it was used. Very disappointing.

It was supplied with 22V dc from a new MeanWell power supply; the bed resistance is 4,8 Ohm at 10 deg C.
The control voltage from the Velleman board is 14,95 V dc, with correct polarity.

Any advice or suggestions would be welcome, as I could not find contact details on reprap.me website.
