lcd issues

Reprap experts,

I have been searching for days to figure out how to setup my sainsmart 12864 LCD for my ramps 1.4. I have visited forums and they all say the same things: make sure you have the u8glib library, make sure you have latest marlin, but beyond that I am lost. I have downloaded this ( [s3-ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com]) but when I put it in my library is says that its label is incorrect..

I am eager to get my laptop back so my machine can print independently.. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

You want download u8glib from original source.

And load into program data file for Arduino IDE library.
Not it marlin library.

Have you defined lcd in configuration.h section in marlin?

Also define SD support.
If i was at my computer i.could tell you what to define.and what not to define.
