z axis wont move up during printing

I need help I built the aurora Z605S kit I upgraded the controler to the ramps 1.4 and ardirino 2650

i have been fighting with this printer for weeks and i know it got to be something silly. I have total control of all axis and when i print the 20 mm cube it only prints the x y and no z movement. the square is 20 mm and starts to blob onto itself. I calibrated all the axis and in manual control z moves the correct direction and exact distance. what am i missing ???????

at a guess, since you haven’t given much to go on

check your max feed rate.

Manual movement is limited by the feed rates on the screen, but printing the feed rates are set by the slicer.

You should have a max feed rates set in firmware so no software can exceed your machines limits
