Hi,
in my client work Im coming across more and more prints that requires lettering eg for phonecases or keychains. I dont have a dual nozzle setup so I started leaving recesses in the print that are a bit bigger than the letters that I print in a different color.
That works but is design intensive and the small letters dont print very well and I need to set/glue them in the base print.
While browsing to the hobby store I came across some acryl paint and thought about using the capillary force of the recessed letters to suck up thinned acryl paint, that also works the only issue that I cant deliver the color very cleanly by brush and there is always some spill over the border which needs to be wiped away with acetone later and that makes a mess and contaminates the color in the recesses.
Any ideas on how to solve that? maybe with syringes or are there better techniques known to do that?
Cheers
