What is this processor? it came with my kit but i pulled it off and replaced it with ardruino mega and ramps 1.4. I was told that it was a mks base but it doesn't look like the ones i've seen. Is it any good and where can i find drivers to load firmware with? The ones on the sd card included didn't work.

seem to have firmware for it, but only in binary format....
no configuration files...

looks like it designed to be mezli compatible, so it either a 644p or a 1284p

You should be able to read the number from the top of the chip, the one that is turned around 45 degrees

If its Melzi compatible, you could try marlin as firmware.

thanks for the imput. my cpu wont recognize it when i plug it in and the drivers they sent in the sd card will not extract. mezli tells me more than enough, thanks
