XYZ Motion control without connecting extruder tool head

Hello,

Good day!!

Could someone help me to get XYZ motion working for lulzbot taz 5 printer?
I don't want to connect extruder tool head to the printer and on disconnecting that, it throws "MIN TEMP" error on LCD.

On referring forums , I can see that editing configuration.h file ( Marlin Firmware ) would do the above. But I'm unsure about disabling extruder motion.

If you unplug the e stepper the controller will not notice (while off or you will damage the stepper driver)

Also if you remove the E stepper driver the controller will not notice that either. (Also while off)

Both will disable E extruder stepper


Re that thermistor, I just wire a 100K resistor over the thermistor inputs. The printer then thinks its 25c all the time.
Its quite hard to remove temperature stuff from firmware, especially if you have a LCD (Last time I looked)

Just connect the thermistor -- no need for the rest of the plugs.
