Hi, I have bought an Anet A8 Prusa i3 printer about a year ago and I still haven’t been able to print anything. At first, there was a problem with my mainboard (Anet v1.0 for LCD 2004) with the temperature control. The nozzle temperature was increasing a lot as soon as I was powering up the printer. The seller just provided me another mainboard, and I realized that it is not exactly the same model (Anet for LCD 12864). With this new mainboard, the LCD of my printer is not working as Anet A8 printers have LCD 2004. I was able to connect to this mainboard with Repetier Host and I could see that the temperature control works fine now. It is still very bad that I can’t use my LCD so I was thinking of upgrading the firmware, but I can’t find it anywhere, not even from the seller. Also, I had the idea of making a backup of the firmware that is on my Anet v1.0 Mainboard and load it into my Anet Mainboard, but I don’t know if this is possible. Can anyone help me with that?
