Okay, so thats:
A bunch of new hard soft and firmware
connect the brr to the pc, load a stl for testing and calibration
disconnect the brr and select an item from the sd card and print it.
I don't get it?
What's simpler with that??
Still: I'd love to see a display on the RepRap, I love to have some sort of removeable media with the RepRap (SD cards, memorysticks and such)
But not on the babyreprap I think, not NOW.
Setting up a BRR is a brilliant idea, shipping it around the globe to users that want to build a darvin is even more brilliant.
That'd be the best thing the community could have (for now).
But as I read in the YakShaving article the other day:
"Its Better to have it well done NOW, than to have it perfectly done later"
And it surely is; not only but mainly for the BabyRepRap

So less is more, simpler is better, and fast is best!
Keep the ideas in mind, they're good to have for darvin improvements.
But nothing I'd like to see on a BabyRepRap, because the main thing with this machine is, to have it done as fast as possible, with the least possible hassle for all (and that includes the initial builder for sure!).

Nice Victor indeed.
Looks extremly expensive though; especially with aluminium parts,
I'm still uncertain about how long it'll take to have the electronics done.

btw viktor, do you still have those tiny nema17 steppers laying around?
(i'm interested in the dimensions; at least for now) maybe we can set up a quick and dirty cartbot with three of those)
