cost of pellets

can some body give me a ball park figure of the cost of pellets used in large scale plastic production
have worked out the cost of my part to make with my printer
would like to work out very roughly what it would be for production (excluding setup costs, etc).
like $x/kg as opposed to $60/kg for filament that i pay (in AUD).

I had a quick look. The wholesale price is around $3/kg, if you buy in bulk, i.e. by the tonne. There are a few sellers on ebay.com selling by the pound, price for 10lb around $35.
