cant do any good print since first day on my prusa i3

The hotend keeps blocking the filament.

i dont know how to fix it.

i am using the g3d Budaschnozzle style hotend

why cant i get an uniform extrusion?

any help?

tested with pla about 185-200° and abs with and without fans at 230-250° with 0.4 and 0.5 nozzle

do you recommend another hotend?

Try to print the PLA hotter.

Unlock the idler from your extruder, heat up the hotend and manually push the filament through the hotend. Try this at 200º and up to 215º with 5 degree increments.

See if you are printing the PLA too cold maybe?

You cannot go above 240º with your Budaschnozzle, as you could've read in the manual.

What thermistor table did you select in your firmware? Are you sure the temperature reading is accurate?

hi. i am using EPCOS 100k thermistor. i selected 1 in the firmware.

// 1 is 100k thermistor - best choice for EPCOS 100k (4.7k pullup)

thermistor and the hotend is from this kit: [gadgets3d.com]

i see it extruding, kind of.

it stops extruding after a few minutes.

any suggestions?

what could be the best method to apply a fan, and where to point it to? I already have a fan, but i just am not sure if its ok as it is.
