First layer has 'wispy bits'

Hey,

I have recently bought a new hot-end and something i have noticed is that the first layer has been leaving these fine wispy bits which then get caught on the nozzle when it passes over it again.

9times out of 10 it sorts its self out after 2-3layers but it still causes some concern for me.

I have taken a photo of it and I hope you can see the stray parts. (part closest to camera)

How would this issue be fixed?

Thanks

I sometimes get this when the amount of material extruded is to much, or on first layer when the distance of the printhead to the bed is to small. In those cases you have excessive material that gets caught on the nozzle.

SO would you recommend raising the Z offset up?
