Filament sensor on dual extruder.

Heu guys,
How are you all doing?

I have a dual extruder, single hotend (Cyclope) 3D Printer and I would like to add filament sensor on both extruders.
I don't really know how to do that and in my seaches on the web, I only find how to add one sensor.
My motherboard is a mks Gen L v1.0 and my display is a mks tft3.2.
Other than that, I would like to know, if it is possible to set the sensors to triguer the other extruder in case of filament ending?

Thanks a lot
Best regards

Connect the sensor terminals in parallel. Thus, when either ends, detection will occur.

Hello ECJ,
how are you?

TY for your idea, but I already tried this.
As long as one is triggered the board does not recognize the signal.

I would connect the filament sensors in series.
I think that the usual function of the switch is closed when there is filament, and open when there isn't.
So if one of them has filament and are in paralel, the opening of the other switch would go unnoticed.
In the series connection a breaking of the continuity on any of the switches ( or in the cabling) will mark a filament problem.

You can easily check if filament in is open or closed with an ohmeter or unplugging the filament sensor and verifying the status in the LCD.
