Stepper motor driver

Hello,

I only want to test my stepper motor, therefor i have a RepRap motherboard v1.2 and a stepper motor driver.
Both are powered. But how do i test the board? Can i test it with replicator G?

The motherboard is connected through usb. Replicator G does see the board, but he can`t connect with it.

What should i do?

Maybe try other host softwares first ? Repsnapper and the reprap (java) host seems to be possible candidates for that generation of electronics, but you could also try pronterface and repetier host.

After that if this isn't solved, let us know more details about what happens when you try to connect (console output, ...)

Most of my technical comments should be correct, but is THIS one ?
Anyway, as a rule of thumb, always double check what people write.

Teacup is the most modern firmware which runs on a Gen3, AFAIK. You can connect with a serial terminal or Pronterface, then.
