Can the Stepper Motor Driver 2.3 can be modified?

Hello, I wanted to know if the Stepper Motor Driver 2.3 can be modified in order to take in 5 stepper motors as the Prusa i3 needs.

Another question: This plaque can be used with the mainboard modular Motherboard 1.2 ? and with arduino?

Thanks in advance

This stuff is 6 years old. They are replaced by many other ( better! ) boards.

the Stepper Motor Driver 2.3 is equivilent of 1 pololu module

You use 4 of them.. (Z normally has two steppers on one driver)

Or better use something much newer as these are limited to 1/2 and full steps. (obsolete technology)

take your pick [reprap.org]

If you wanting to build it yourself (making the pcb and up) look at gen 7

The tryied and true is ramps (or one of the others with on board mega 2560, rambo, rumba etc)

if you want a faster arm prosesor based, I recomend a smoothieboard. (recomended for deltas)
