Duet stop after 10 or 15mn

Hi all,

I have a strange behavior with my Duet.
All works fine however, with all my printings, after 10 or 15mn, the print stops ..... 10 or 15s without moves and then continue to print the job without error.

Any ideas about that ?

Hello,

Only printed from computer. I haven't tested the SD yet

It probably means your computer busied itself with other things and stopped sending data for a little while. Most people with Duet-controlled printers control them via the web interface, and either upload files to SD card, or use the "Upload & print" button, which uploads a file to the SD card and then prints it. This frees up your computer to do whatever you want without affecting the print.

AFAIK, the RRF firmware has a flow-controlled USB-port. ( If that's the right term for it )
What happens to the head/extruder, when data stream is interrupted? Does the head park somewhere else and the extruder retracts?

No, head stay where it stop, no retract ...
and my iMac does nothing else !
I'll try to print with file on SD card.

And on the PanelDue, status is "Idle"
