so i am getting ready to switch over to the sprinter frimware on my techzone monolithic board. and i have a limited knowledge of thermistors so i wanted to confirm here before i look to order one

at
[reprap.org]

so i could use any from the list, such as
// 7 is 100k Honeywell thermistor 135-104LAG-J01

Any thermistor will work. It just makes it easier if there is already a thermistor temp conversion table for it.

I guess I should have said any Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) 100 k ohm thermistor will work. You may have to do a custom table to get accurate readings if yours is not on the list. But you would still get something in the ballpark even without a custom table.
