I have an older mendel than I upgraded to to a ramps. I rearaged where things sit so that there is more room at the top.
However, now when I try to build some thing more than 232 layer high it work great up to 220 and then stop rising in the Z direction after that. I can i sit there and move the belt after each layer is made and it works out ok. What I am looling for is where in skeinforge/pronterface is the max Z set? It seems that there is a a limit to how high the thing will print. I can print about another 40mm but the printer just stops advavcing.
