Good evening I bought the Ramps Ultimate package from reprapdiscount.

now I want to wire my stepper motor to the Ramps board.

I followed the guide here: Guide

My connectors should look like this

but unfortunately my connectors looks like this:

So Blue and Red are interchanged, does it make any differents ?
Or should i wire it like on the first picture ?

(The wires were preasembled in the package)

many Thanks

Any chance we can see your connectors as your image is not showing correctly.

if you need to re arrange your wires you can use a tiny screwdriver to push the visible silver tab in, then pull the wire out of the black connector. It will snap back in once you re install the wire in the correct place.

I'm looking for information on how the Arduino plug side for the stepper is wired as, A+ A- B+ B-, or is it A+ B+ A- B-, the combination on the pins is what I want to find out, as I was thinking the pins could possibly be set from firmware but up loading for each trial, can be tiring and frustrating.

Can anyone help with this, it might be a simple thing, but as it is I cant tell as I am getting no motion from any motor and thought that I need the right wiring to start with even if there is some other thing wrong.

This is the standard of what the colours are to what wire is which.
Red A+ Green A- Yellow B+ Blue B-

Plus I need to state that I have the same kit as foxen has with the cable ends wired up the same and marked as "motor" for each motor.
