possible to slow only first layer?

I was wondering if there is a feature to slow down deposition in the first layer (or few layers) and then go to full speed for the remaining layers. I would want this for better grip to a non heated bed.
I would be surprised if this feature does not exist already.... But I cannot find it!! sad smiley

Any hint is clearly appreciated.

Thanks a lot, that makes sense... I always tended to leave "raft" unchecked... but I'll give it a go!

What if I want some other layers slowed down? ie the first 3; or maybe the top surface of an object?

Then you need to write your own Skeinforge plug-in.
Raft only allows handling the first layer specially.
