I notice that Skeinforge-44 was just released today. Awesome! I was thinking though… it would be pretty handy if each new skeinforge version could include a starting profile you can build off of. That way there would be a common jumping-off point and it could highlight any new plugins.

In related news, does anyone have a Skeinforge-44 profile they'd be willing to share? smiling smiley

Don't all versions come with a PLA and an ABS profile already?

Last time I checked the PLA profile was just a copy of the ABS one...
I think it would be better to have a library of know working profiles classified by plastic source and machine kind. Not sure it should be included in skeinforge releases then, as that would be user provided data.

Profile selection dropdown menu near the top of the interface. But as I said, check the temperatures, I think this is just a copy of the ABS profile.

I don't know it's there in SF41 but since don't use the newer versions yet I haven't looked myself

Oh, duh, I see now. When you show the interface and change tabs, it creates new files and builds you a profile with the default values. I'm a dummy. smiling smiley
