This set would be going on ebay today, except I think I've been persuaded on IRC to make a matching frog & bed first.

This is the first of three sets I've milled. It's all well seasoned wood (oak, pine & some oak plywood) made to the standard STLs, with a Wade's extruder. It's all had several coats of solvent free non toxic varnish. The gears are milled from plastic (delrin for the small ones) for durability and I'm including the hobbed pinchbolt.

..also I still need to make rims for the Z pulleys, and probably the spacer and belt splitter too

I'll update as soon as the sale starts. It'll be a 7 day listing starting this week hopefully.

Yes I think that will hold the record for the best looking Mendel for some time.

A fine bit of work MattyMatt. smiling bouncing smiley

I was wondering, have you seen WolfStrap? Might be fun to do up a few.

Thanks for all the kind words spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Yes it's all CNC milled, on the above machine. It is built pretty much the same as a Wolfstrap, but a fair bit heavier. I hadn't seen the Wolfstrap at the time but it's clearly the same train of thought smiling smiley These drawer slides are quite effective for the price.

So, I've made the frog smiling smiley Now it's just the bed and a few fiddly bits I'd forgotten to do, and it should be ready to go this weekend. smoking smiley

EDIT: In case the announcement (below) never makes it through moderation - the listing has started here.

do you have a 4th axis on that cnc? how did you do all the weird perpendicular holes if you don't? That must have been a lot of work if your CNC (from that pic) only has 3 axis? 0.0'

good job!
