I get an error "The X axis probing range is too small to fit all the points defined in AUTO_BED_LEVELING_GRID_POINTS." when I put in the firmware that my probe is 25 mm to the right of the hot end and cant find what value to change to fix this

I changed the grid points to 6 and it seems to have fixed the problem. why wouldn't 9 fit?

Also, is it possible to have a round grid? the square grid it autolevels is relatively small compared to my bed

There is also a definition for minimum spacing, along with the maximum probable area (which is smaller than the bed). This, it's likely that 9 could not maintain minimum spacing. Also, as you noted, the grid is square, but the bed is round, rurther restricting grid size.
