please test this model for me...
September 05, 2015 03:36PM
I can't seem to get this test object to print well.
It runs ok first the first several layers but after that it starts to randomly starve filament.
It's PLA at 205 deg running .2 layers at 40mm/sec perimeters, 3mm filament on a Bowden extruder.
I've attached the gcode file and the slic3r settings to somebody to see if it runs ok on their own machine.
thanks

gcode:gcode
slic3r config file settings: config

I tried to print it, but I have a 0.4mm nozzle so your 0.3mm extrusion width is too small for my printer.

I looked in the config file and there is no setting for 0.3 extrusion. I have a .4mm nozzle as well.

The comment at the start of the gcode says the extrusion width is 0.3mm. That would explain why it doesn't do a good first layer on my printer with 0.4mm nozzle. Are you sure you have told.slic3r the correct nozzle diameter?
