Gen7 Board stepper jacks question
February 28, 2012 06:27PM
Hey guys,

I'm off on the adventure of making a Gen 7 board. So far so good, I'm waiting for a few more components and I should be ready to start loading the bootloader and firmware - fingers crossed.

But, I can't seem to find info on the many pins on the board. Heater and temp are pretty straight forward, but what are the pins for the stepper motors and endstops? I must be missing something obvious.

Thanks!

You miss this picture [reprap.org] ?

For the endstops it's pretty obvious what's signal, what GND (light blue) and what 5V (thick red). Motor connectors are the same as with all other electronics: one motor coil on the left pair, one on the right pair.

Thanks. It is pretty obvious, but I just wanted to make sure I didn't cook a motor, driver, or board. angry smiley Also, they're still in the mail, but it looks like the Pololu drivers are very clearly labeled also, so all is well. Thanks!
