a 3d printer controled by sound card ??

so i had this idea , why not control the servos with a sound card modulating the voltage of aceleration of the servo with a software.

Why Not? - Because it's harder and more complicated to do that. Stepper motors (not servo's) are driven by simple digital pulses, they are easy to generate with a microcontroller and give exact control for this application.
Also at this point the PC is not doing any part of the machinecontrol, we use a Arduino style microcontroller to do all the real-time motor control.

im not saying it would be easier just saying it would be cheaper

ps with all the taxs sanguinololu gets in brazil by +300 dollars

This makes one wonder why a sound card would be cheaper. Do they have less taxes?

The cheapest way to get a stepper going is probably sort of a level converter hooked up on the parallel port. The EMC guys might have such designs already.

I believe some built-up electronics imported into Brazil have +40% tax. AFAIK if it's in kit form (components) this tax is not applied, or is much lower.

So you should be able to get a sanguinololu kit without drivers for $80 in Brazil, if not there is a big market for someone there!

some sound cards r build inside the country .
realy did u see anything like this in a reprap before?

great idea but i need a kickstart for selleing those. and i aint much sure that i can solder a intire sanguinololu (ouch my english is getting worse)
