I was just thinking that it would be a good idea to find out who, of the people who will attend the next meeting, is interested in buying printed parts. I don't think that anyone in the group has a printed kit available just yet, but i would be able to print kits by the next meeting. If you are interested please post here and specify what you would like.
Going off of Ebay prices:
- $200 for Standard Reprap Mendel
- $120 for Prusa Mendel
- $75 for Huxley
The kits would only be for the printed parts set and will probably be printed in PLA unless otherwise specified. I currently have Black and Natural. If you would like a custom color, a non-refundable deposit of $40 would be necesary to cover cost of filament. When the parts are finished you simply pay the remaining value. (i.e. Blue Huxley = $40 Deposit and $35 after the print is complete.)
Disclaimer: I make no promises, but i am pretty confident that i will be able to have the first two orders completed by RUG on the 26th, maybe more. If not maybe a few days after. Depends on how busy work makes me.
