Hello!
I just got started in the world of RepRaps and recieved the last prats for my Prusa Mendel yesterday. I began assembling the electronics (Megatronics) but soon realized i didn't have a thermistor for the pcb heatbed.
I found a few thermistors that seems to be the same as the one i got with my Jhead hotend but they have to be ordered from the USA and the shippings costs will be very high.
I am running the Marlin firmware and from what i can understand there's only 1 setting for both thermistors and they have to have the same specs. Is that correct?
Can i calibrate and run the heated bed without thermistor somehow or will it the temperature continue to rise until it breaks?
I assume the best sollution would be to get two new identical thermistors to mount in bort the hotend and the heated bed. Any thoughts or suggestions?
