Reading 4.9v from T0, new thermistor, no temp detected

So from my sainsmart kit, I got 2 replacement polulu stepper drivers in today and was excited to start printing. So like the title says, after I got all the axis's moving successfully, I focused on the extruder. I have a 100k little glass bead thermistor which I changed in config.h. and when I tested the output signal with my multimeter I was reading 4.9v. When I attached the thermistor it didn't detect anything and the pronterface read 0 degrees. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Found the glitch, I changed the firmware to a honeywell 100k thermistor, 7 and it seems to be working now. Unfortunately though, the heater doesn't seem to be working. Interestingly enough though, when I hooked up the nozzle to D10, there was only .003v, yet 5.6v on D9. So I tried hooking the nozzle up to D9, and then D9 only had a .003v and 5.6 on D10, like they flipped flopped haha
