As it seem unstable to controle a heatbed with a relay, I would like to completely use an external controller. I will use two temp sensor, on for the controler and another one for the ramps (so the software know when it's heated).
My question is :
- Is there's a way the allow D8 to only act as an ON/OFF.
I mean
1) Turn heatbed ON
2) Wait for the good temperature to begin printing
3) Turn headbed OFF at the end of the print
What I understand is it will do this :
1) Turn heatbed ON
2) Wait for the good temperature to begin printing
3) Turn heatbed OFF to stop rising
4) Turn headbed ON to rise temps
[3...4]
5) Turn headbed OFF at the end of the print
I want to set the heatbed "ON", just to open the relay for the external controller.
Else, I might also look at those Omrun controler with Analog PID Input.
