Motor Test Failed

Hello all!

I just bought from ebay the RAMPS 1.4 kit complete with 5 stepper driver A4988 and Arduino Mega.
I uploaded the test code which just rotates the motors and blinks the leds[test code]
I am using a 12V 5A power supply.

The problem is that not all the motors turn as they should.
I tested each stepper driver on a breadboard to make sure they are not fried, and they work. But when I connect them to the RAMPS 1.4 board, only the Z axis motor turns, although the code should make all the motors turn. I soldered the right connections for the motors so I am sure the coils match to the driver pins. When I tested on the breadboard, I used that connection, so there is no mistake.

At first I believed that the pin configuration is not correct.
Then I started to think that the RAMPS board has some flaws.

What else can I do?

Yes! That worked!

It seems that the RAMPS was not properly connected to the Arduino.

Thank you! smiling smiley
